The triple-locking cylinder is locked into the frame at the front, rear, and bottom for more positive alignment and dependable operation shot after shot. Its corrosion-resistant stainless steel finish boasts the durability and reliability that is the hallmark of a Ruger firearm. The strong extended frame with extra metal in the top strap, sidewalls, and barrel mounting areas will handle powerful, big game loads. The recoil cushioning Hogue Tamer Monogrip with an internal recoil cushion helps reduce the impact of powerful loads while the peg-style grip frame easily accommodates custom grips. Dual chambering allows .44 Magnum models to accept factory .44 Special cartridges and .454 Casull models to accept factory .45 Colt cartridges. The patented transfer bar mechanism provides an unparalleled measure of security against accidental discharge and the cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy, longevity, and easy cleaning. It has an adjustable rear sight and fixed, replaceable red ramp insert front sight.

Ruger's Super Redhawk revolver features a patented transfer bar mechanism and loading gate interlock which provide an unparalleled measure of security against accidental discharge. Its traditional western-style, hand-filling grip is comfortable and has natural pointing of any grip style. The Super Redhawk also has cold hammer-forged barrel, adjustable rear and fixed front sights, and is reliable with coil springs throughout for durability. Included are scope rings. This Ruger model has a 9.5" stainless barrel, frame, and cylinder. It also has Hogue Tamer Monogrip and integral mounts are machined directly on the solid-steel barrel rib.
